Your information, handled with care.
This policy explains what information AbleLawyer.NET collects through this website, how it is used, who helps us process it, and the choices available to you.
Who we are
This website is operated by AbleLawyer.NET, the law offices of Joe Inumerable, 18565 Soledad Canyon Rd, PMB 268, Canyon Country, CA 91351-3700. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@ablelawyer.net.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the intake form on the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization, the type of legal need and support you are exploring, your timing, the summary you write, and the page or topic that led you to the form.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
Security check. The intake form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people and automated bots apart. Turnstile processes limited browser and device signals for that purpose only.
Browser storage. We store a small value in your browser to remember that you acknowledged the site disclaimer. If you choose a language in the translator, a googtrans cookie remembers your choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To review and respond to your inquiry, including by email or phone.
- To send you an automatic confirmation that your inquiry was received.
- To check for conflicts of interest before any engagement is discussed.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, professional, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use the information you submit for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages unless you separately ask to receive them.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers that help us run this website, under obligations to use it solely for that purpose:
- Website hosting and delivery.
- A form-processing and email service that routes your inquiry to the office and sends your confirmation email.
- Cloudflare, for the Turnstile security check.
- Google, only if you choose to translate the page with the language menu.
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or professional rules.
Confidentiality of inquiries
Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information sent through this website may not be treated as confidential or privileged. Please do not include confidential or time-sensitive details in the form. See the legal disclaimer for more.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond, to complete conflict checks, and to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your California privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@ablelawyer.net or call +1 (213)-995-3057. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where the law or professional rules require it.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This website does not track visitors across other websites. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing further to opt out of when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and server-side handling of form submissions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
